As an ex-serviceman, it is great to see the sacrifices made by our older Veterans are still being recognised 65 years after the events which altered our world. These men and women put everything on the line for our futures, gaining victory at tremendous cost. We have a duty to learn what we can from them whilst they are still with us, and to pass on to our children the lessons they teach us about war and its results.

God bless every member of the Armed Forces and its Veterans who have given us the gift of freedom and who defend it to this day with their lives. I hope D-Day Revisited continues with success for many years to come.
